Appearance
Commissioner
The person who starts a league is its commissioner. See Leagues for how to start or join a league. Only the commissioner can use the Commissioner screen. Other GMs who open it see "This desk isn't yours".
The screen holds league settings, a trade review and the list of owners. The advance button is not here. It lives on the Next sim card in the panel on the right. See The sim controls.
League settings
The League settings pane groups its rows. Most rows are facts you read. Three rows are controls. Two more control rows show when they apply: Owner firing while owner goals are on, and When a GM is fired while owner firing is on.
| Group | Row | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Pace | Sim schedule | Scheduled (the league advances once a day) or Manual (it waits for you). |
| Pace | Next sim | The date of the next sim in a scheduled league. |
| Pace | Manual advance | Who can push the league forward early: the commissioner. |
| Season | Phase | Regular season or Offseason. |
| Season | Money | Shown or Hidden. The league sets this when it is made. |
| Competition | Owner goals | On or Off. You can change it. |
| Competition | Owner firing | On or Off. Shows only while owner goals are on. You can change it. |
| Competition | When a GM is fired | Find a new club or New ownership. Shows only while owner firing is on. You can change it. |
| Competition | Contract talks | Simple offers or Full negotiations. You can change it. |
| The end of the line | Delete this league | A button. Guest leagues do not show it. |
Each control opens a confirm box that shows the before and after. Nothing changes until you confirm.
- Owner goals: when on, every owner issues a goal for the season in progress. A goal set mid-season is judged on the games that are left. When you turn goals off, new goals stop. A season already played under a goal still counts. See Front office, Owner's box, Outlook and Chemistry.
- Owner firing: when on, at each season rollover, an owner whose confidence in a human GM has run out fires that GM. AI clubs are never affected. The first check is at the next rollover. When you turn firing off, owners keep issuing goals, but nobody gets fired. A firing already made stands. See When the owner fires you.
- When a GM is fired: with Find a new club, a fired GM picks an open club to take over, and the old club goes to the AI. Until the GM picks, nothing changes hands. With New ownership, the GM keeps the club. The owner sells it, and the new owner starts with a fresh opinion of the GM.
- Contract talks: with Simple offers, an offer is one number and three tries. With Full negotiations, players tell you what they want. They turn down a short offer and say whether it was the money, the years or the guarantees. They remember how you treated them. A talk already under way keeps its remaining offers.
- Delete this league erases every season, player, game, contract and record for every GM. You must type the league name to confirm, and you cannot undo it.
Trade review
The Trade review pane lists every completed trade, newest first. Each entry shows what each team sent. Select Veto trade to put a deal back. Every player and pick returns to the team that had them, and both GMs are told. Use a veto for a deal that broke the league, not one you disagree with.
Owners
The Owners pane lists the teams and who runs each one. Filter it with the buttons: the human count, the AI count, or All. A Commissioner tag marks the commissioner's team. Each row can have these buttons:
- To AI: the AI takes over the team at once. Its GM keeps league membership. On your own team, you keep the commissioner role, and you can claim the team back.
- Claim: take a team that the AI runs.
- Hand over: give the commissioner seat to another human GM. They get every control on this screen. You stay as a GM and keep your team. You cannot take the seat back. They must hand it to you.
Select Copy invite link to copy the link that friends use to join. More ways to share opens a ready-made message. Guest leagues do not show the invite buttons.
