History, champions and season recap

These screens look back at what the league has done. You do not need them to run your team. They fill in as you play. A new league shows an empty screen until the first season ends.

Open Records from the League menu. Its History, Hall of Fame, Champions and All-Pro entries sit under it. For leaders, the record book and GM scores, see Leaders, records and GM scores.

History

History is the league's record book on one screen. It has these panes:

  • Recent champions: the latest winners, with the season, the champion and the score of the title game. Select a row to open the box score.
  • Season records: the best single-season mark on each board, with its holder, team, mark and season. A board opens only after somebody clears its minimum, so a one-game cameo cannot own the book.
  • Award races: who leads each award now. This pane shows only during the season. It is not there before week 6 or after the regular season ends. The races and the final awards rank players the same way: a blend of stats and current OVR. For OL, K and P, where stats count for little, current OVR decides.
  • All-time leaders: career totals, with a top-10 list for each category.
  • Awards by season: who won what, newest first. A season joins the list once its title is decided, so the season in progress is not on it. The Award races pane covers that season.

Champions

Champions lists every title, newest first. Each row shows the season, the champion and the score of the title game. The score shows the winner first. It is not the champion's season record. Select a row to open the box score. The list starts the day the first Championship Game is decided.

Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame is a wall of plaques. The committee votes each offseason. A player waits five years after the player retires, and the player must also clear a peak-rating gate. So the first class is a few seasons away in a new league.

Each plaque shows the class year, the player's name, position, Career AV and a career line. Career AV is the sum of the player's AV from each season. Honors show as Champion, All-Pro and All-Star nods counts. Select a name to open the player page.

All-Pro

All-Pro has two panes with one row for each position.

  • All-Pro: the first team and the second team. The vote happens when the regular season ends.
  • Midseason All-Stars: the team picked at the halfway mark, around week 9.

In a league that shows money, a Tag value column shows the franchise-tag price of each player. See Front office. Select a column header to sort.

Season recap

The season recap tells your team's year as a column of text. It opens from the prompt on your Dashboard that says your season is in the books. That prompt shows in the postseason and the offseason.

The recap has these sections. A section is left out if the game has nothing for it.

  • The moments that defined it
  • Player report cards
  • Negotiations
  • In the locker room
  • The draft class
  • Hardware
  • On the hot seat

Before the season finishes, the screen says "This season isn't in the books yet". The recap is written the week the season finishes.
