Appearance
Leagues
A league is one season-long game with several teams. You run one team. Friends can run the others, and the game's AI runs any team that has no person.
How to
Start a league
- Sign in, then open the Leagues page.
- Select Start a league (or New league if you already have one).
- Choose the one team you will run all season.
Join a league with an invite
- Get an invite link or code from the league's commissioner.
- Open the Leagues page and find the invite section.
- Paste the link or code and join.
Play the season
- Open the league's Dashboard.
- Check how your league runs. A scheduled league has no advance button. The games play on their own at the time the Dashboard shows, so set your lineup before then. In a manual league in any of the three games, only the commissioner sees the advance button. If you are not the commissioner, set your lineup and wait for the commissioner to run the games.
- If you can press the advance button, use it to play the next games. The standings update after each advance.
- If a sim button is greyed out, look at the list of open items on the Dashboard (Up Next or Needs you). Finish what it shows first. In FTG Basketball, a bad rotation does not grey out the button. It becomes Advance anyway, under a red link, Rotation is invalid. Fix it first.
Commissioner
The person who starts a league is its commissioner. The Commissioner screen changes the settings that every team in the league plays under.
Differences by game
- The advance buttons, the phases of the season and the commissioner settings differ by game. See the FTG Baseball, FTG Football and FTG Basketball sections.
