Waivers and free agents
A free agent is a player who has no team. You can add one to your roster if you have room under your cap. In the offseason, all three games use sealed bids for free agents: you make one offer, and you do not see the other offers.
How to
- In the offseason, open the Free agency screen.
- Find a player you want. Check where your roster is thin first.
- Make your offer. A bid is not a signing. The player signs when the bidding round resolves, and only if your offer wins.
- Check the result after the round.
Differences by game
- Signing during the season is not the same in every game. Some games let you sign a free agent right away with a direct offer. Waivers, how many rounds the bidding takes, and the cap limits differ by game. See the FTG Baseball, FTG Football and FTG Basketball sections.
