Trades

Regular season

Trades run in the regular season, up to the trade deadline.

1. Open the Trade screen.
2. For the quickest path, select exactly one of your players and select Shop player. Every AI team answers with the best package it will accept for that player.
3. Or start from an incoming offer. Use Make it work to balance it.
4. Read the value balance. It shows the deal from the other side. If you push it in the other team's favor, the AI is far more likely to accept.
5. Clear any pending offers before you propose a new one.

The AI values players carefully, so lopsided offers get turned down.

On the block

The On the block panel on the Trade screen lists players that teams have put up for trade. AI front offices list players as the season goes on, so check back as the deadline nears. You can list up to 3 of your own players with Put on the block, and take one off with its close button.

Trade window closed

When rosters are locked, the Trade screen tells you the window is closed. Rosters are locked in the playoffs and the offseason. Offseason moves happen through free agency.
