Players and news

Players

Players lists every player in the league.

  1. Open Players.
  2. Narrow the pool with the filters: Position, Team, Status and Age. The Status filter has Free agent. Select a column header to sort.
  3. Read the five skill grades on each row. They use the 20-80 scale, where 50 is the league's rostered average. The headers are Score, Shoot, Pass, Reb and Def, for Scoring, Shooting, Passing, Rebounding and Defense.
  4. Select a row to open the player's page. It shows ratings, the five skills, contract and the career ledger. When a player has real NBA seasons on file, the Career pane has a League / Real NBA toggle. League shows his seasons in your league. Real NBA shows his real NBA seasons. Each real season shows the club's 3-letter code, never the full club name. Both editions work this way.

Keyboard shortcuts: J and K move down and up the rows. The slash key jumps to the search box.

On a player's page, a season split by a trade shows one row for each team, then a total row labelled 2TM for two teams or 3TM for three. Game log shows his games, and Season retrospective gives a card for each season he played.

News

News is the league wire.

  • It opens on the current season, with the biggest stories first.
  • Type, Club and Season narrow the list. The pager holds thirty stories a page.
  • Why they did it holds the reason a front office logged for a pick, a bid or a trade. A reason appears when the front office decides.

Your notes

My notes sits in the My team group of the side menu. On a phone, open Team at the top of the screen. It collects what you write about players, offers and prospects. Only you can read it. Use the search box, or the chips under Kind of note, to find an old note.
